All blogs hosts offer the basic tools needed to maintain a diary or journal: you need not worry about learning to code. The user interfaces are intuitive, and anyone can master the basics with ease. While maintaining a blog is similar to maintaining a Web site, people these days tend to prefer blogging sites because of the simplicity. The toughest part of maintaining a diary, of course, is finding something interesting to record.
